The National Consumer Federation has for over 50 years represented and supported the work of voluntary, independent consumer groups, individuals and those in other organisations that have an interest in consumer affairs. The NCF provides an independent consumer voice, thinking, and expertise. It is a consumer charity with a not for profit professional services arm.
Voice: the NCF charity arm is the umbrella for independent consumers acting as a consumer voice, particularly on issues not well addressed elsewhere. The NCF provides independent, evidence based views in its consumer representation.
Thinking: the NCF charity is a home for consumer experts to develop, with colleagues, better analysis of consumer issues and statements of ‘what good looks like’ to the consumer.
Expertise: The NCF aims to assist individual consumers who, on a volunatry basis, wish to develop their expertise and experience in topics of particular interest to themsleves. For the most specialist and demanding aspects requiring the greatest effort and expertise we provide consumer expert services through our professional services arm NCF Services CIC.
